Pre-order the Moto X Force tomorrow

The specs for the Moto X Force are spot on with the Droid Turbo 2 those of you in the US will be getting.

Motorola have come in for a bit of stick over the past month or so and that's not down to the handsets they are pushing out but the software they are sending them out of the factory with. Instead of packing them off with Marshmallow they're coming out with Lollipop. Both are nice treats but in the Android world Marshmallow is the newest version of Google's OS.

The Moto E, G, X Play and Style all offer a lot of smartphone for your money and unlike the likes of Samsung and others they come with as close to pure Android as you could possibly get without picking up the Nexus 6 or the new Nexus 5X or 6P.

With the Moto X Force you get all that but the headline spec is the 5.4-inch Quad HD display. It's the first device from Motorola that is guaranteed not to crack or splinter and take on the every day knocks and drops. Personally I'd still be putting a case on it just to keep it neat and tidy.

Other features of the Moto X Force include a 21MP camera that can be put in to action with a quick flick of your wrist. To the front it has a 5MP camera for video calls.

Power comes from a 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM keeping everything running smoothly so you won't get any lag when moving between apps. The 3760mAh battery keeps everything ticking over with 10 hours of use coming from a 15 minute charge. The Moto X Force comes with a new 25W TurboPower technology that is designed to keep you spending less time hooked up to the mains.

Prices for the SIM version will be £499 for the 32GB version with the 64GB Moto X Force asking £534 or thereabouts. Carphone Warehouse will be taking pre-orders tomorrow.
